A 43-year-old American woman has got her 19th baby.

Cable network TLC reported Monday that Michelle Duggar gave birth to a 1-pound, 6-ounce daughter during an emergency cesarean section in Little Rock, Arkansas Thursday night.

Josie Brooklyn is reported to have been in stable condition at the intensive care unit although she was born premature.

Michelle married his husband Bob, 44, in 1984, when she was 17. She has given birth to her 19 babies, since her first son, Josh, was born in 1988, one baby per 18 months.

She has become a grandmother as her eldest son gave birth to a baby Oct. 8
But she has not given up increasing the number of family members.

As a result, the Duggars have 11 sons and eight daughters, including a couple of twins, and have been spotlighted in various kinds of reality shows and talk shows.
Mischelle said that babies are gifts from God. "I'm very pleased to have found that I got pregnant with our 19th baby. I thought that I couldn't get more children as I have become 42 years old," she said.

최근 19번째 아이를 출산한 43세 산모가 화제를 모으고 있다.
미국 아칸소 주에 사는 미셸 더가는 얼마 전 19번째 아이인 조시 브룩클린을 출산했다.
조시는 미숙아로 태어나 현재 신생아 중환자실에 입원한 상태지만, 몸에 별다른 이상은 없는 것으로 알려졌다.
미셸은 1984년 17살 때 남편 짐 밥을 만나 결혼했고, 1988년 첫째 아들인 조시를 시작으로 총 18명의 아이를 출산해, 평균 18개월에 한 명씩 아이를 낳았다.
미셸은 얼마 전 21살 된 큰아들이 아이를 낳으면서 할머니가 됐지만, 가족 늘리기를 포기하지 않았다.

결국 쌍둥이 두 쌍을 포함해 아들 11명과 딸 8명을 둔 대가족을 이뤘고, 각종 리얼리티쇼와 토크쇼에 출연해 관심을 모았다.

미셸은 아이들은 신이 내린 선물이라고 말했다. 그녀는 "나이가 42세가 되면서 더 이상 아이를 가질 수 없다고 생각했지만, 19번째 아이를 임신했다는 사실을 안 뒤 매우 기뻤다"고 말했다.
